Job Description
Old Mutual is excited to offer the Chartered Accounting Training Programme (OMCAT) for 2024/2025. This prestigious program is available in our Johannesburg and Cape Town offices and provides a comprehensive 3-year training contract designed to cultivate well-rounded chartered accountants. Trainees will gain extensive exposure to all aspects of finance as mandated by SAICA.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program that encompasses various finance sectors.
- Gain hands-on experience in accounting practices and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to understand the broader financial landscape.
- Engage in continuous learning and development through mentorship and practical application.
Qualifications
- Proof of registration or a pass in PGDA/CTA.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- A commitment to achieving professional accounting qualifications.
Experience
- Previous experience in finance or accounting internships is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
