Position Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in various projects across departments such as Finance, Risk Management, Investment, Legal, Human Resources, and more.
  • Assist in the analysis and evaluation of investment proposals and business plans.
  • Conduct research and compile reports to support decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that drive industrial development.
  • Support the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide support where necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings to enhance understanding of the IDC’s operations and the broader economic landscape.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.
  • Uphold the IDC’s values of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to development in all tasks and interactions.

Education

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • A strong academic record with a focus on relevant coursework and projects.

Experience

  • No prior work experience is required, but internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer experiences related to finance, economics, business, or development will be considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis, economic research, or business development will be beneficial.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or financial modeling software is a plus.

Skills
