Position Title: Investment Service Consultant
Type: Permanent position for recent graduates
Allan Gray is looking for highly motivated recent graduates to join our Client Service Centre as Investment Service Consultants. This role plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to clients and independent financial advisers. As an Investment Service Consultant, you will build trust and confidence by providing world-class service, educating clients about their investments, and guiding them on their investment journeys. You will gain in-depth knowledge of Allan Gray’s products and develop strong communication and client relationship skills.
Location: Cape Town (Relocation assistance available for successful hires outside of Cape Town, Ts & Cs apply)
Responsibilities:
As an Investment Service Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent service to investors, potential investors, and independent financial advisers through various communication channels (inbound calls, emails, face-to-face interactions).
- Building trust and confidence by explaining Allan Gray’s investment philosophy and long-term approach to investing.
- Educating clients by sharing knowledge of products, funds, and investment strategies to help them make informed decisions.
- Taking ownership of transactions from start to finish, ensuring accurate record-keeping and processing.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by providing feedback and solutions to enhance the client experience and address client concerns.
- Collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality service and achieve client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Science, Finance, Investments, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Recent graduate (or final-year student) ready to embark on a career in financial services.
Experience:
- No previous experience required; however, any internships or project experience in finance or investment-related fields will be beneficial.
- A genuine interest in the financial services industry and a desire to develop knowledge of investment products and services.
