Job Overview
The Core Group Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to a dynamic team within the exciting world of Apple and other cutting-edge technology products.
Position Purpose
This internship program allows undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain hands-on experience in various functions at Core Group, the leading distributor of Apple products in Sub-Saharan Africa. You’ll work alongside industry professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain valuable insights into the world of technology distribution and retail.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will vary depending on your chosen department, but may include:
- Assisting with marketing and sales initiatives
- Supporting with customer service or technical support (iStore internships)
- Participating in research and data analysis for supply chain or logistics (Core Group internships)
- Creating content (written, visual, or multimedia) for social media or internal communications
- Learning and applying industry-specific software and tools
Education Requirements
- Enrolled in a recognized undergraduate or postgraduate program in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or Supply Chain Management (depending on the internship area)
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience is not required, but a strong academic record and a passion for technology is preferred. Relevant coursework or personal projects will be a plus.
Skills Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic familiarity with relevant industry software (a plus)
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for innovation
