Responsibilities:
As a trainee in the Coronation Catapult Programme, you will:
- Participate in structured learning and mentorship programs.
- Receive hands-on experience and training in your specific role.
- Develop core financial skills through power skills training, including critical thinking and business communication.
- Collaborate with peers and mentors to achieve business objectives.
- Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world financial tasks and challenges.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity while completing assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must hold the relevant qualifications for their chosen field:
- Equity Research Analyst Trainee: BCom, BBus Sci, CFA, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or any degree majoring in Accounting, Investments, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Equity Trader Trainee: BCom, BBus Sci, CFA, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or any degree majoring in Accounting, Investments, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Data Analyst Trainee: BCom, BSc, BBusSci, or Honours in a related quantitative finance field (Investments, Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics).
- Settlements and Operations Trainee: Any commerce degree majoring in Accounting, Economics, Investments, Finance, Business Management, or related fields.
Experience:
No prior work experience is required. This programme is designed for recent graduates seeking to gain practical, industry-relevant experience in finance and investment.
