Hyundai Automotive South Africa is seeking dynamic, motivated, and high-energy individuals who are passionate about sales and eager to learn and grow in the automotive industry. As part of the Hyundai Sales Academy, successful candidates will participate in a fixed-term program focused on coaching, mentorship, and acquiring essential workplace skills.
The Sales Trainee role provides an exciting opportunity to develop into a high-performing sales executive within Hyundai’s renowned automotive team. This is a unique opportunity for those looking to start a rewarding career in automotive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Hyundai Sales Academy training program, gaining exposure to all aspects of automotive sales.
- Learn essential skills through coaching, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand and apply product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer service techniques.
- Engage with customers to promote and sell Hyundai vehicles, ensuring a great customer experience.
- Assist in daily sales operations, including inventory management, customer follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
- Continuously strive to meet sales targets and contribute to the success of the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- A valid Driver’s License and driving experience (non-negotiable).
- Degree/Diploma (Advantageous).
- Previous sales experience (advantageous).
Experience:
- Experience in sales is beneficial but not required.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
- Passion for customer service and sales.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
