Job Description:
KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury is offering an Internship Programme aimed at providing unemployed youth with practical work experience in various fields of study. The program follows a structured, work-based experiential learning approach, focusing on developing competencies in specific occupations. This is a great opportunity for graduates to gain valuable exposure while contributing to the province’s development.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured work-based learning program.
- Gain practical experience in the assigned field of study.
- Develop competencies related to the occupation through mentorship and training.
- Complete tasks and assignments as per the requirements of the internship position.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a relevant National Diploma or Degree (as specified in each position).
- Qualifications in various fields such as Public Management, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Information Technology, and Supply Chain Management, among others.
Experience:
- No prior work experience required; however, applicants must have completed their tertiary qualification.
- Candidates should not have previously participated in a similar internship program.
Skills:
- Computer literacy is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
