Job Description

Minopex is excited to offer its Graduate Internship Programme for 2024/2025, designed to provide graduates with essential industry experience and professional development. This 2-year fixed-term programme focuses on practical learning through coaching and hands-on experience with experienced staff. Graduates will tackle real workplace challenges, receiving ongoing assessment and feedback throughout the internship. While this programme offers a unique learning opportunity, please note that permanent employment is not guaranteed upon completion. Successful applicants should be open to rotations between Minopex operations.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in hands-on learning experiences through mentorship and coaching.
  • Work on real-world projects and challenges in various operational areas.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments to track progress and development.
  • Rotate through different Minopex operations to gain comprehensive exposure.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in the specified fields for each internship role.

Available Internship Opportunities:

  • Data Science Graduate/Intern: Data Science, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
  • Business Development Graduate/Intern: Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Supply Chain Graduate/Intern: Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Financial Accountant Graduate/Intern: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
  • Junior Engineer Graduate/Intern: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Computer Science Graduate/Intern: BSc Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related.
  • Industrial Engineer Graduate/Intern: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
  • Metallurgist Graduate/Intern: Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Chemistry Graduate/Intern: Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or BSc in Chemistry.
  • SHEQ Graduate/Intern: National Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Safety, Health, and Safety Management Certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, COMSOC, NEBOSH).
  • HRD Graduate/Intern: Completed LLB or Bachelor’s in Human Resources with Advanced Diploma in Labour Law.
  • Human Resources Graduate/Intern: Human Resources or LLB degree.
  • P1 & P2 Student Training Programme: Must be registered and have completed up to S4 in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Human Resource Development.

Experience

  • No prior experience is required, but relevant academic coursework and projects are advantageous.
