Position Purpose: The purpose of the Omnia In-Service Training Program is to provide students with practical exposure to the operations and processes within Omnia. Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Assist with operational tasks in relevant departments, including production, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Support project teams with research, data analysis, and reporting activities.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, as applicable.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide administrative support, including document management, report preparation, and scheduling.
  • Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative projects as required.
  • Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Education:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Must be in the final year of study or have completed relevant coursework that aligns with the in-service training.

Experience:

  • No prior professional experience is required; however, academic projects, practical assignments, or previous internships related to the field will be considered advantageous.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of chemical processes, agricultural practices, or environmental management is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
