Job Overview:
Servest, a leading provider of integrated facilities management services, is offering internship opportunities for graduate students in 2024. This program is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in facilities management, maintenance, and service delivery. Position Purpose:
The Servest Internship Program aims to develop emerging talent by offering practical experience and professional development in the facilities management industry. Interns will contribute to daily operations, engage in meaningful projects, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals, preparing them for successful careers in facilities and service management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with operational tasks and support various departments, including facilities management, finance, and human resources.
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of service delivery and maintenance processes.
- Participate in project management tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
- Support administrative functions and assist with client and vendor interactions.
- Attend meetings and provide input on project planning and departmental strategies.
- Collaborate with team members on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Education:
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in fields such as Facilities Management, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
- A strong academic record with relevant coursework or research experience.
Experience:
- Previous internships or work experience in facilities management or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Relevant academic projects or volunteer work related to facilities, business operations, or service management are beneficial.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of facilities management practices or service delivery is a plus.
