Position Purpose
The purpose of the TBWA Internship Program is to provide students and recent graduates with practical exposure to the advertising industry, enhancing their theoretical knowledge with real-world application. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with daily tasks and support various departments including creative, media, strategy, and account management.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of campaign ideas and strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support project planning and execution.
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation for client meetings and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with team members on project deliverables, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, organizing files, and managing communications.
- Adhere to TBWA’s policies and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Education
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized tertiary institution, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience
- Previous internships or work experience in a professional environment is advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated academic performance relevant to the internship position.
Skills
- Strong creative and analytical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently on assigned tasks.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for the advertising industry and a willingness to learn.
