Job Description
TotalEnergies South Africa is seeking motivated and enthusiastic graduates to join our Graduate Internship Programme 2024/2025. This program is designed for individuals eager to contribute to a high-performing organization while enhancing their professional skills in specialized fields. Interns will gain hands-on experience, participate in impactful projects, and work alongside seasoned professionals in their area of study, supporting TotalEnergies’ ongoing success and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Departmental Exposure: Engage in diverse tasks across assigned departments, depending on your field of expertise, for a comprehensive learning experience.
- Active Participation: Contribute to various department-specific projects and tasks, gaining insights into industry practices.
- Skill Development: Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, supported by training and mentorship.
- Collaborative Contribution: Work with team members and leaders to support department goals and contribute to TotalEnergies’ mission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Honour’s Degree in a relevant field (as outlined below).
- Completion or near completion of the degree at an accredited institution.
Experience
- Recent graduates or students completing their studies in 2024.
Fields of Study
Eligible candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Honour’s degree in one of the following areas:
- Engineering: Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Process Engineering.
- Science & Analytics: Applied Chemistry, Statistical Sciences (Analytics), Mathematical Sciences, Computer Science and Mathematics (Data Analytics preferred).
- Business & Commerce: Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transport Management.
- Legal & Governance: Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Governance, Compliance.
- Marketing & HR: Marketing Management, Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology.
- Social Sciences: Environmental and Geographical Science, Social Work.
Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Strong academic foundation in relevant subjects.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
